The 12 smallest of the 51 saunas we track, any seat count, sorted by floor area. The lowest-priced is the Dynamic Gracia at $1,999.
You want the least floor space possible, whatever the seat count. Wiring among the matches: 8 × normal outlet, 3 × 20A outlet, 1 × 240V hardwired.
How this list is ranked: Sorted by outside floor area (width × depth), smallest first. Seat counts are the maker's own. We compare published specs; we don't test saunas, and commission never changes the order.
Space it needs = the cabin plus the maker's clearance at the sides, back and top (2″ where the maker publishes none). * The spec has gaps; the model page says which.
Dedicated 20A outlet: the Sun Home Solstice 1, 37¾″ × 39¾″
240V, stove and stones (traditional) or can go outdoors: the SaunaBox Forge, 43¼″ × 41¼″
Questions
What is the smallest sauna you can buy?
The smallest of the 51 saunas we track is the Peak Saunas Mini: 31″ wide, 32″ deep and 67″ tall, about 6.9 sq ft of floor. With the gap we leave around it, it needs a spot 35″ × 34″ and a 69″ ceiling. Next is the SaunaBox Solara at 35″ × 37″. Sauna tents and blankets pack smaller, but we only track cabins.
Is the smallest sauna also the shortest?
Not always. The shortest sauna we track is the SaunaBox Solara at 63″ tall; the smallest by floor area is the Peak Saunas Mini at 31″ × 32″ and 67″ tall. If your ceiling is the limit, look at height, not floor space.
What is the smallest 2-person sauna?
The Dynamic Gracia at 39½″ × 36″, on a normal outlet. It's sold as a 1–2 person cabin, so two adults will be a tight fit.
What is the smallest outdoor sauna?
Of the saunas we track that can go outside, the smallest is the SaunaBox Forge at 43¼″ × 41¼″. It needs 240V wired in by an electrician.
